Young racer Archie aiming high

Archie is a talented young karter from East London who, at just 15 years of age, is targeting his next steps on the motor sport ladder.  

Impressive performances in karting have already attracted interest in him joining Formula 4, but for now Archie is keen to develop his natural skills by joining an established Junior Motor Sport programme.

Archie, who is still at school in Central Foundation Boys School (Old Street, London), first target is more track time and professional coaching. He is then looking at joining the Junior Saloons Championship or the Ginetta Junior G40 Series as they are considered an ideal first step for young drivers looking to graduate to a professional racing career.

Invest in young local talent

Chasing your dreams, especially in motor sport, isn’t cheap and so Archie is hoping for the backing and support of local businesses or community groups to help him take the next steps.

Archie told us…

“Karting enabled me to demonstrate my potential and I am desperate to build on this. I believe I have the potential to go far and so I am dedicated and focused on getting there.

I appreciate that the pandemic means that there is less financial support available, so I am hoping a positive, driven attitude will encourage some to provide a little bit of support.”
